Ultrabook brand/features choice? Acer vs. Toshiba?

Q. Best Buy has two ultrabooks that I want to purchase. One is an Acer Timeline M5-481PT-6644

Which brand is better? I own a Toshiba laptop now and it has never had a problem in the 3 years I've had it. I've heard that Acer is not a very good brand of computers. Opinions?

A. I would say go with the Toshiba. I have one right now and it works just fine.

How long until I have to replace my ultrabook (Toshiba Z835)?

Q. I'm planning on getting the Toshiba Z835 (i3 processor & 125 SSD) from bestbuy. I wanted to know what other people thought about it and if you had an opinion on its lifespan (as in how long until it falls apart). I'm also a somewhat concerned about the slower I3 processor, but I was told it would be fast enough ( I do everyday things: Music, web surfing, etc. In addition to using some adobe programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop), especially since I'm upgrading from an HP Pavilion I got in 09.

So can anyone tell me how long they believe the Z835 should last and how fast it is (compared to other laptops/ultrabooks)?

A. Ultrabooks are generally less powerful than a normal laptop since they use lower end processors/underclocked. You would have to give me the clock speed of the i3 for a better answer though

Main Points:
Toshiba having 128GB SSD but only a i3 processor
Acer Aspire has 320GB + 20GB SSD and a i5
