Can factory warranty be activated on a brand new laptop from ebay?

Q. I want to buy a laptop online through ebay that is brand new and sealed in box. According to the seller, the factory warranty was never processed and I was wondering if i could activate the factory warranty when I get it?

A. I think it should go between 50 to 100 US dollars. Not all ebay sellers ship outside U.S.though. You can filter those that ship to your country by doing an advance search;
1. Input your search term in the "Enter keywords . . . " box
2. Scroll down to location and check the "only show item" box
3. Point the "Available to" button to highlight it
4. Scroll down the countries to choose yours.
5. Then click the "Search" button.
