Are ultrabooks worth the price?

A. Personally, I do not think so. The main reason is that laptops, unless it is T or X-series Lenovo Thinkpads, are not build to take physical handling through a day and should have a laptop case. Once talking a laptop case, why does it matter if it is a little bigger or heavier. You pay extra for the CPU, graphics, and battery power as you go thinner and lighter, or downgrade the two to get the battery usage time up.
But, people are going to want what they want. I think Macbooks are not worth half of what they cost.
I know about hardware. Thinkpad Procurement Engineering for over 30 years (got into Thinkpads when the brand started in IBM)
