How can i connect dell netbook to my tv?
Q. My dell netbook has 3 usb's an s video and a headphone connection. My tv has an s video and one connection for audio. How do i connect the audio and video? I'm not familiar with computers so many details would be appreciated.
A. Plug the S-Video from the computer to the S-Video on the TV: that's picture.
For audio you need a cord that has a 3.5mm (standard headphone) jack on one end and RCA (red and white plugs) on the other. You can get them just about anywhere - RadioShack has them pretty cheap or you can get them for a few bucks on Amazon or Newegg.com if you can wait for shipping. Plug the 3.5mm into the headphone jack on the netbook and the RCA's into your TV.
That's it for cords. Then just follow the Window's instructions for setting up a second monitor on the Control Panel and you are all set!

How do I get the webcam on my dell netbook to work?
Q. My school is letting the students use Dell Netbooks and I have been wanting to use my webcam but I can't seem to get it to work. Anyone have any ideas?
I checked the devices area on my netbook and it doesn't seem to be there and I have no idea what driver to install to get it to work... :/

A. It depends a bit on the specifc problem you are getting with the webcam.

How do you get a Dell Netbook's screen to stop turning black after you don't touch it for around ten mins?
Q. My Netbook always turns black after I leave it alone for around 10 mins. I already went to Appearance and Settings and changed the idle time, but my netbook continues to go black. How am I able to fix this? Sorry, I'm obviously not very smart with computers. Thank you!
A. left click on the battery icon at the bottom....choose power options....on the left side there is a list of different options....go through them and personalize to your taste...it's real easy.
