Which Lenovo Ultrabook is a better deal?

Q. ThinkPad Twist Multitouch Ultrabook with i7, 128GB SSD, 8GB of RAM

Yoga Convertible 13 with i3, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD

They both weigh in around 3.3 pounds and both run around $1,000

I would think the first would be a better deal?

Can you tell me why the Yoga with less "power" is the same price as the twist?

Is the Lenovo IdeaPad U510 Ultrabook any good?

Q. Thinking about buying it but heard some bad things about it.

A. Yes it is a good laptop, Lenovo is a very reliable manufacturer. It is pretty big for an Ultrabook, which should be alright if a 15.6" is what you are looking for.

Also a good choice if you need an optical disc drive, which most Ultrabooks don't have.

Lenovo Thinkpad Twist vs Asus Vivobook Ultrabook?

Q. I'm going back to college this fall and need a new laptop. I'm trying to decide between the Asus Vivobook and the Lenovo Thinkpad Twist. I've looked at them on amazon and there's not much of a price difference so that's not really a factor, manly just everything else. They're both intel i5 with 500 GB HDD and 24 GB SSD. Although the vivobook has 8GB ram and the thinkpad only 4GB. From what I've heard and read they're both good laptops. Which one should I buy?
